New special edition! A path out of the darkness

Internationalist youth perspective

Even though since the beginning of the war over Ukraine, there has been repeated speculation from some quarters as to whether the main theater of war would now shift from the Middle East to Eastern Europe or even to Southeast Asia and the Pacific, developments since the escalation of the conflict between Hamas and Israel on October 7, 2023 have once again proven that the Middle East continues to be the center of the Third World War. From Palestine to Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, the pace of the conflict has accelerated significantly. The current developments in the Middle East cannot be explained solely by the Hamas attack and Israel's genocidal war against Gaza.

Rather, we must also view this war as part of the ongoing Third World War and can only understand the unfolding lines of conflict and the political-military balances in the region if they are woven into a global geopolitical analysis. If we take a look at the global situation, we can clearly see that the world has entered a phase of reorganization and chaos since the end of the confrontation between the blocs and the collapse of the real socialist camp.

To find a way out of this darkness, read our new special edition: A path out of the darkness - Internationalist youth perspective
